How to Defeat Debbie Downers and People on the Job Who Spy on You

There are people you work with that ask too many questions. They’re classified as foot soldiers, operatives, or straight snitches. Or bored people who ask questions galore and want to share your personal business with others.

When you feel someone is spying on you, stay positive in your thinking. Continue doing your job. Ignore them and give no reaction when they virtually break their neck to see what you’re doing. These kinds of people allegedly have no life, no intimacy happening for them at the moment, and no long-term goals.

The [“Debbie”- downers] who like to criticize you and tell you things such as you stink, or ignore you when you ask questions are the kinds of people who possibly lack “adequate home training.”

Think positive and don’t let your naysayers see you sweat when they come at you sideways with personal questions such as your last place of employment, what kind of side hustles you have, what kind of extracurricular activities you get into, etc.  Be an effective thought leader and politely tell them with class and dignity that you respectfully decline to answer their questions.

And besides, who knows if they’re possibly asking you questions on behalf of someone else, because “that other person” can’t say anything to you? Or asking you questions on behalf of an ex from decades ago who’s still allegedly keeping tabs on you “through other people?” Something to truly think about.

Defeat a [Debbie downer] by letting your words be few and move forward with your life by doing the transformation work in and out of the gym.
