People are unpredictable. They support you one minute and show their concern. The same people who support you in the beginning most likely turn on you. Facts of life. What do you do when the people who showed support in the beginning give you the cold shoulder and plot on you? Pray. Have faith. What you’re going through is a test to see what you’re made of. All test and earthly trials are temporary. It may feel like it’ll never end, but it has to sooner or later. And don’t be surprised if some of those same people who turned on you try running back later down the road and want to be in your life again when they find out you’re doing so much better than them.
You’ll discover that people you worked with from 20 to 40 years ago all of a sudden remember you now like ya’ll met yesterday. You’ll discover long lost so-called family members coming out of the wood works. People who turned on you will probably tell you they love you know and to “palm them,” meaning hit them off with a few ducketts. They always come running back when they find out how much more blessed you are after they turned their back on you way back when.
